Nathan Davies

Nathan Davies is a retired law enforcement inspector who served with the Ministry of Justice for 28 years, from 1989 to 2017. During his tenure, he served as AdeC to two Lieutenant Governors of British Columbia while also carrying out his duties as an inspector, including overseeing the Kelowna, Penticton, and Salmon Arm Law Courts.


Throughout his career, Inspector Davies has placed great emphasis on the importance of good leadership and has dedicated himself to developing his leadership skills. He firmly believes that effective leadership is the foundation of success for any organization.


Inspector Davies is also an experienced Critical Incident Stress Management Team Leader for the Sheriff Services province-wide. He has volunteered his time and expertise with various community groups, including Air Cadets, minor hockey, and youth groups.


In recognition of his commitment to youth and community, Inspector Davies has been awarded the Chester Kascak Memorial Trophy for Dedication to Youth and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. He has also been recognized with the Peace Officer Memorial Medal, Exemplary Service Medal, and the Deputy Chief Superintendent Commendation and Medal for his exceptional leadership in dealing with an officer suicide and rebuilding his team.


Currently, Inspector Davies is associated with the Westbank First Nation Law Enforcement Unit, where he continues to serve his community and share his expertise with the next generation of law enforcement officers.
